　　強大的演員陣容
　　《中國家庭421》演員陣容強大，實力派演員演員高曙光、郭小東、朱琳、王詩槐、蓋克、宋曉英等在劇中都有精彩的表演。最值得一提的是高曙光，他將一改過去扮演的警察、英雄的正面形象，來了個大變臉。這次高曙光在劇中扮演了一個表面上正人君子，內(nèi)心陰暗變態(tài)的角色。這個在外面?zhèn)涫艽蠹易鹁吹娜耍诩依飬s因為總懷疑妻子有出軌行為，而對妻子大打出手。能將這樣一個扭曲的角色表現(xiàn)得如此傳神，高曙光的演技實在讓人刮目相看。
　　自從因主演電影《暖》，在東京電影節(jié)獲得最佳男演員獎之后，郭小東演藝事業(yè)的重心就放在了電影上，在《桃花燦爛》《頤和園》等電影中，他都有不錯的表演。電視劇《中國家庭421》是郭小東主演的為數(shù)不多的電視劇之一。
　　劇中，郭小東扮演男主角劉毅然，一個在環(huán)保局工作，上有老下有小的年輕干部。張帆介紹說：郭小東特別樸實，戲里戲外都一樣，在戲里，他演工人家庭的孩子，家境一般；而生活中，郭小東是從鄉(xiāng)下走出的孩子，小時候生活很苦，曾因沒有30元錢而差點輟學(xué)。當(dāng)年他口袋里揣著120元就到北京上學(xué)。正是因為吃過苦，所以他演戲很用功很認(rèn)真。劇組人員印象深刻的是，冬天拍攝時，郭小東穿得太少了，凍得嘴唇都僵硬了，說話都不利索了，只好拿一個熱水袋來捂嘴取暖，然后才好拍戲，但即使這樣，郭小東依舊演得很認(rèn)真，沒有一丁點敷衍。
　　《中國家庭421》是部群戲，實力派演員朱琳、王詩槐、蓋克、宋曉英、李心敏等在劇中都有精彩的表演，張帆說：這些演員演戲確實很棒，因為有很扎實的生活基礎(chǔ)，他們拍攝時狀態(tài)很松弛，也能很好地把握那些生活細(xì)節(jié)，演起來很感人。在拍宋曉英在醫(yī)院住院的戲時，因為要趕拍醫(yī)院的戲，因此宋曉英一整天都沒下病床。
